This family estate of 50 hectares (123 acres) has been in the Baronet family for more than three generations.

Located in the village of Camplong d’Aude at the foot of the Alaric Mountain, this winery in the Corbières appellation has some of the oldest wines of Carignan in the region (some more than 100 years old).

Château La Condamine produces mainly red wines with a strong identity. The winemaker-owner, generous of spirit just like his wines, imparts a controlled power and finesse to the wines.

Varietals

One of the properties in Corbières with the oldest Carignan (some more than 100 years old!). With nearly 19 hectares (47 acres) of Carignan, it’s undoubtedly the estate with the most today. The entire property (50 hectares or 123 acres) is classified in AOP Corbières with two reds: the cuvée Tradition, majority Carignan with Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre as well, and the Cuvée Marie, 100% Carignan. All grapes are harvested by hand, and all Carignan is vinified using carbonic maceration.
